Amazingly refreshing cool water for a nice break from the hot sun. This is a nice swim and great to dive, long dark cavern with lits of cracks in the ground letting light rays into the water for some amazing views
Absolutely beautiful! The owner was very nice and knowledgeable about the landscape. This gem is definitely a site to see. You can tell its very well cared for. Definitely a site worth seeing for any adventure! Can't forget to mention the little fish that eat your dead skin!
This place is awesome. Cash only, 200 pesos per person, kids 12 and under are 100 pesos.
Wasn’t too crowded, they rent out life vest, goggles and snorkels if you want them. Bring your own if you have them. The water is crystal clear and there’s fish and turtles swimming around.
The kids had a blast jumping into the Cenote. They had two (2) spots to jump from, one is 20ft, the other is about 25. Water shoes come in handy because the rocks are very slippery.
It’s definitely a must do when you are here.
There are a couple tucked away parts of the Cenote so you could get away from the crowds if you really wanted too.
It’s a very cool place with friendly staff.
Great place!!!
We where going to a well known cenote but it was crowded and so we tried this one and it was perfect for us. A lot less people with options of some food after swimming, snorkeling, and diving. You can rent life vests and snorkeling equipment
Great place, price is good, food is good and cheap, nothing fancy but was good enough for us. They have rules and they make sure you will follow them which we greatly appreciated. No one will be rude to you if you are not entitled and follow the rules. Everything is black and white and I like it. No hidden fees.
Beautiful and refreshing! Do not wear sunscreen! Not even on your baby. The cenote care take has a nose for sunblock! His mission is to make sure the flora and fauna in the area are thriving! He's doing a great job of it to! Nice plane to relax, swim, and grab some local food. We enjoyed it here!
Great DIY cenote afternoon from PDC. We didn't haggle - paid $500 pesos for family of 4. Get a cab to the Cenote. They'll pull off fwy across from Barcelo resort. There are a few different cenote entrances in same area. We decided on Jardin of Eden first. Have them drive you all the way in. About $200 pesos per person to enter park. Total low key feel. NOT the type of place that the tour buses will take you to. Manager was from LA spoke perfect English. Very informative, ecologically conscious, nicely run operation.
We got a late start(1pm) and it was busy (new years week - popular holiday week) but not too busy. Really enjoyed the location/water/setting and very simple snack bar (hot dogs and chips- perfect snack). Water was crystal clean. Nibbler fish. GREat jumping platform and a tree to jump from. Fair amount of scuba divers coming and going thru the cave system. Spent 90
Min here and then walked to centote cristalino. Had a good time there (it was a little more crowded) but REALLY enjoyed Jardin of Eden.
Summary - get adventurous, pack your suit and and a towel and go for it! I'd suggest going EARLY - get rolling so you are at cenote when it opens - beat the crowds. By noon you'll be ready to
Cab back and enjoy beach time! Skip the organized tours that will literally kill your day and involve a long bus ride and upselling. Support smaller, individual businesses and patronize these cenotes.
FYI - we didn't bring any valuables, but do bring phone/waterproof bag for pics and enough cash for everything.
No one messed with our stuff and things seemed safe/honest/
Family folks (staff and customers alike)
Eden Cenote was the best cenote for diving and swimming! It was absolute amazing experience for me to swim in here!
A bit far from Tulum but it was worth it.
Life jacket is not mandatory but you can rent here!
It was a 200mxn per person for entrance.
